grub4dos is a powerful bootmanger based upon GNU GRUB 1 legacy. Don't get scared about the 4dos. grub4dos is also very useful for booting any operating systems such as Windows or Linux.

It's a good idea to learn GNU GRUB 1 legacy first because grub4dos has almost all features of GNU GRUB 1 legacy. Most commands work for grub4dos the same way. The only differences are that the installation of grub4dos into MBR or other devices is made different and grub4dos has more features then GNU GRUB 1 legacy.
